Bal Vatika

“Bal Vatika” in Kendriya Vidyalaya refers to a preparatory class for young children, typically in the pre-primary stage, before they enter formal schooling. This initiative aligns with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes early childhood care and education (ECCE). The goal of Bal Vatika is to provide children aged 3 to 6 years with a strong foundation in cognitive, emotional, and physical development before they enter Class 1.
